Parents will have one important question for their kids this July: “Do you wanna build a snowman?”

After all, things will turn a little frosty this summer when Frozen the Musical hits the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The Broadway adaptation of the renowned Disney film of the same name will be gracing Vancouver for two weeks beginning July 9, bringing animated characters Elsa, Anna, and even beloved snowman, Olaf, to life onstage.

The film introduced audiences to the lovable characters of the fictional European town of Arendelle in 2013 when it first premiered. A sequel, Frozen II, followed six years later.

Frozen the Musical—which follows the plot of the first filmfirst premiered in Los Angeles in 2019, and has since toured North America to a collective audience of over two million. It went on to break records at New York’s St. James Theatre in 2020 for its inaugural Broadway run, becoming Tony Award-nominated for Best Musical. As of today, there are four Frozen productions on stages globally—including Tokyo, London, and Hamburg.

Developed by a multiple-award-winning team responsible for Aladdin and The Lion King, the production has all the trappings of a perfect show—and with tickets on sale soon, you’ll want to seize the opportunity and not “Let It Go.”

Tickets go on sale on February 12.
